In 2019 Lighthouse assisted Andromeda with complicated research for a broad-ranging Indonesian itinerary. Requests included: itinerary development, physical inspection of multiple destinations, arranging all logistics in support of +100m yacht and most challengingly seeking flight permits for the yacht’s own helicopter.
We spent over 4 months cruising Indonesia with the support of Andy Shorten and his team at the Lighthouse Consultancy. Andy has a wealth of knowledge in Indonesia and was always available during day or night to offer his support. Through his connections, Andy was able to make anything happen which proved to be critical in ensuring the success of our guest trips. During our time there on both trips, covering Bali to Komodo, the Banda Sea, Ambon, and Raja Ampat, we had Andy available to assist with regulations, transfer, advice, provisions an all manner of small problems at any hour and always with a solution and smile.
